Hitachi IVX - the benefits of VRF in a multi-split

The new Hitachi Utopia IVX DC inverter range brings the benefits of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) to smaller multi-split systems with up to four indoor units. As such, it is ideal for projects which aren't large enough to warrant VRF but have unbalanced loads and so require individual control of each indoor unit. Utopia IVX is also very efficient, boasting a COP of up to 4.24.

Auto filter cleaning - and much more

One of the many innovations embodied in the Fujitsu Nocria ceiling/wall split unit is an automatic filter cleaning function that prevents filters from becoming clogged with dust and provides more than 25% energy savings as well as smoother air flows. The Nocria also features an axial gap fan motor which increases rotation efficiency by 10% with very low noise and vibration - and ultra-violet illumination to kill bacteria in the air.

Compact VRF system

The Fujitsu J Series is a compact VRF System that was developed to meet six key requirements; high efficiency, economy, comfort, convenience, ease of operation, and easy maintenance. Despite its small size, the single phase, 15.2kW J Series is not short on power. The single outdoor unit is powerful enough to feed eight indoor units, yet small enough to fit virtually anywhere. With a high-performance DC inverter, the J Series is also extremely efficient.

Popular verstatility

Hitachi's Monozone/Multizone range has proved extremely popular since its launch and, with the introduction of new models, it is now even more versatile. The range now incorporates flat framed wall mounted, 600 x 600 cassette, floor mounted and in-ceiling ducted indoor units. The entire range utilises Hitachi's DC scroll and DC twin-rotary compressor, together with the award-winning DC inverter PAM technology - delivering a system power factor of almost 100%. The DC inverter system provides extremely sensitive and accurate temperature control with very low noise levels.

Enhanced support for contractors

Ongoing refinement of Walter Meier's service and support infrastructure has led to the creation of a business-to-business internal sales and support team, dedicated to the needs of small to medium sized refrigeration and air conditioning contractors.

The new Customer Service Team takes responsibility for every aspect of a transaction from quotation to delivery, with ongoing technical support through installation and commissioning. All team members have received extensive training so they are ideally placed to advise on product selection and application.
