With the introduction of new models, the popular Hitachi Monozone/Multizone range now offers even greater versatility

Ideal for houses and small commercial properties, the range now incorporates flat framed wall mounted, 600 x 600 cassette, floor mounted and in-ceiling ducted indoor units. The entire range utilises Hitachi's DC scroll and DC twin-rotary compressor, together with the award-winning DC inverter PAM technology - delivering a system power factor of almost 100%. The DC inverter system provides extremely sensitive and accurate temperature control with very low noise levels.
Adding to the versatility of the range is the 'diversity' factor, enabling even greater flexibility in operation, based on occasional usage of indoor units. For example, in a typical residential application the indoor units in living areas will be used mostly during the day. In contrast, units in bedrooms will be used mostly at night.
Offering up to 150% diversity, Monozone/Multizone exploits this varying usage by enabling each outdoor unit to serve a higher installed capacity of indoor units. Thus, up to 15.5kW of capacity can be connected to a 9kW outdoor unit, and up to 16.6kW on a 13kW outdoor unit.
Outdoor units in capacities of 4.0kW, 5.5kW, 6.5kW and 7.2kW are also available. Each system can accommodate up to 75m of total pipe length with up to 25m per indoor unit.
The wide range of units has been designed to provide cooling down to temperatures as low as -10ºC, making them ideal for cooling spaces that have high internal heat gains throughout the year. Heat pump versions will provide heating at ambient temperatures as low as -15ºC.
In restructuring our technical sales department, we have brought together the experience and expertise of several departments into a single integrated unit. Furthermore, all staff in the department have received extensive training to broaden their knowledge base and enable them to respond to a wider range of queries.
As a result, customers will now find it easier and quicker to access the people with the information they need, whether it's spares availability, warranty and sales information or technical support. We have also launched a new telesales services specifically to provide enhanced support to smaller air conditioning installers.
